+ From Us…

Ohhh, heck yeah.

Remember when you were a kid and you dreamed big—real big? Like a-stadium-full-of-people-chanting-your-name big and standing-on-top-of-an-Olympic-podium big?

Letter from Us

As a kid, you took your dream seriously, immersing yourself in a multi-faceted training regimen as you struck out on your road to stardom. You hurtled yourself passionately down the basement stairs, competing against siblings in the sleeping-bag-luge event. You strapped on the skis and launched yourself down the snow-covered back stairs, getting mondo air-time as you ski-jumped off the lip of a 2x4 packed with ice. You ran laps in loose-fitting Sorels at recess on a field blanketed with a foot of snow, practicing for the moment that you would—of course—be called up as the first eight year old ever to run the torch relay.

So this winter, in the spirit of Olympics past and present, why not put a little extra glide in your step when you find yourself braving the skating-rink sidewalks of town. Or envision yourself behind the wheel of a bobsleigh as you fishtail your way to work in the family station wagon. Get up the gusto to yell out, “Sweep! Sweep! Hurry hard!” as you frantically attempt to scrape an inch of ice off of your frozen windshield.

Fair enough, people may not be chanting your name in the way you imagined as a kid, but at least they’ll be laughing and waving at you from across the street.

It’s all about Citius, Altius, Fortius, my friends. Swifter, Higher, Stronger.
